New canal-side museum opened summer 2002. Museum Galleries, temporary exhibition gallery, museum shop, restaurant, Tourist Information Centre, historic boatyard guided tours. Museum Galleries tell the story of Banbury. These include displays illustrating the English Civil War and Victorian Banbury. Also a collection of costume dating back to 17thC. There are also interactive displays on the Oxford Canal and Tooley's Boatyard.
