Poole's Cavern is a beautiful showcave, 1000ft in length (only 20 steps) electrically illuminated and suitable for all ages, a visitor centre with exhibitions about the cave and woodlands, a mineral collection and the 'Story of Limestone' video. Buxton Country Park is 100 acres of mainly deciduous woodland; it contains a nature trail which takes the visitor to Soloman's Temple at 1400ft with panoramic views of the areas, a visitor centre and picnic area.
