The last water-powered meal mill to work in Angus. Rebuilt in 1814 on site of original structure (built 1539), it ceased operation in 1982 and was purchased and subsequently restored by the National Trust for Scotland in 1988, reopening in 1992. The original machinery is fully restored and turning again. The waterwheel turns daily and milling demonstrations normally take place on Sat and Sun afternoons and for pre-booked parties.
