Hopetoun House is a unique gem of Europe's architectural heritage and undoubtedly Scotland's finest stately home. Situated on the shores of the Firth of Forth, Hopetoun is a splendid example of the work of Scottish architects Sir William Bruce and William Adam. Visitors can explore the state apartments with beautiful 18th century furniture and paintings or view the beautiful carving, wainscoting and ceiling painting of the older part of the house. The house is set in 100 acres of rolling woodland.
