Here you will find a fascinating exhibition on the life of children's author Beatrix Potter, including original illustrations for her books. It is housed inside a 17thC Lakeland town house that was the model for Tabitha Twitchett's shop and was once the office of Beatrix Potter's husband, William Heelis.
