A monument erected in c1844, in memory of Vice-Admiral Sir Thomas Masterman Hardy, flag captain of HMS Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar. It has been restored recently by the National Trust. Tremendous views across Dorset countryside. The car park is not National Trust. Closed in bad weather.
