The award-winning displays include re-created Roman interiors, access to touch screens, hands-on discovery areas, excavation videos and accessible collections ofglass, pottery, jewellery and coins as well as magnificent mosaics, wall paintings and reconstructions of Roman rooms. Roman soldiers invade every 2nd weekend of the month. You can also visit the roman mosaic and hyopcaust building just a few mintues walk from the museum, as are the remains of the roman wall and gate.
