Home of the Lucy family since 1187 The present house was built in the 1550s and visited by Queen Elizabeth I. In the house visitors can enjoy the stunning interiors, added in the 19th century which were designed to create a Tudor ambience. The scullery,kitchen,laundry and brew house all offer a view of life below stairs whilst the coach house includes the Lucy family carriage collection.
