Pubs & clubs

Come nightfall Bristol moves to a different beat as clubs, pubs and bars welcome eager revellers. For historic oak-beamed taverns, such as the Llandoger Trow, cocktail bars, such as Severnshed, or the world's first Hard Rock Bar, Bristol does not disappoint.

The harbourside is overflowing with trendy bars and in the city, the banks of the old financial quarter have been converted into spacious and grandiose bars. The Georgian suburb of Clifton boasts authentic pubs serving traditional English pub food, and Whiteladies Road is known as the 'Golden Mile' for the choice of bars and restaurants.
