Glasgwegians certainly know how to enjoy themselves! The city centre has over 50 clubs and that's on top of the 100 or so pubs and bars. Friday and Saturday nights see the streets buzzing with people as they head to some of the trendiest venues in Britain. You’ll also find some of the best entertainment in the country every night during the week.
There is something for everyone, from traditional pubs selling real ales to unique themed bars. But Glasgow is really famous for is its ultra trendy designer bars such as Arta in the Merchant City – super cool and the place to be seen.
Glasgow also caters well for serious clubbers. A range of contemporary clubs feature top DJs all year round. Fans of live music will not be disappointed either. You’ll find regular sessions at The Arches and King Tut's Wah Wah Hut.
