Blakeney Point is a spit of land about four miles long, extending into the sea from the coast just north of Cley. You can walk to the nature reserve, where you will see many different species of birds and plants and maybe catch a glimpse of a seal. To guarantee a view of the seals take a short boat trip from Morston quay.
The Norfolk Coast Path, which runs from Cromer to Hunstanton passes through this beautiful part of coastline. If you aren’t a hardy walker looking to complete the path you might chose to walk from one point to the next picking up the Coastliner bus to complete your round journey. If you wish to leave your car behind, all of the north Noroflk coast is accessible by bus all year round. From October to May this service is less frequent but sitting high in a bus does give some magnificent views and with a little bit of planning it can be a fun way of getting along the coast.
