Based at Stamford Bridge stadium in central London, Chelsea is currently the most glamorous club in English football.
Premier League champions in 2005 and 2006, Chelsea has assembled a squad of 23 internationals from 17 countries, including the captains of England, Germany and Ukraine.
The cosmopolitan style of the club extends to a close involvement with Indian football, with Stamford Bridge staging the annual Asian Community Cup Final every May as well as hosting celebrity Chelsea fans such as Abishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Preity Zinta and Lara Dutta.
The movie Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Bobby Deol, Lara Dutta plus a special appearance by Amitabh Bachchan, revolves around two couples falling in love in London. Action is centered at Waterloo Station but Abishek's mind is on Stamford Bridge as he plays the role of a Chelsea fan (easy for him as he is one in real life, as is his wife Aishwarya Rai).
