Sean Connery Plaque (Edinburgh)

Mission: Honour the first 007

To mark the centenary of cinema in 1996, this plaque was installed at Sean Connery's birthplace by The Scottish Film Council. Dedicated to the first screen James Bond, you'll find it at 176 Fountainbridge Street.

Home to the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS), or better know as MI6. This is the operational workplace of James Bond where M briefs him and Q give him gadgets. The building stars in both GoldenEye and The World Is Not Enough.
