Covent Garden
Start off in Covent Garden with a visit to Café Rouge (www.london-eating.co.uk/5253.htm) Scene from Four Weddings but also Covent Garden is a venue in multiple British films. Soho just around the corner which features in everything from gritty thrillers such as Mona Lisa to modern stylish fare such as Closer.
Twickenham Studios
Heading far West now for a location shot that was actually set far East. East London that is and we’re back to that loveable East End rogue Alfie. St Margarets station is reached by rail and was the setting for Alfie’s local train station. First and last port of call for many of his womanizing nights out. This small stop off is actually scene to many a “street scene” in British film as it is home to Twickenham Studios (www.twickenhamstudios.com/) - where the alumni passing through their doors have included John Cleese, Richard Attenborough, Ridley Scott and Warren Beatty.
