Hilden Brewery
The brewery celebrated their twentieth anniversary last year. Well known for its Real Ale Festivals in the 1980s, the brewery is set in Georgian stables and comprises of the Tap Room Bar (the only bar in Ireland to serve draft real ale exclusively), a restaurant and a visitor centre.
Hilden are always pleased to let people have a look around the brewhouse. Lunch is served in the Tap Room Restaurant from 1200 until 1430, from Tuesday to Saturday. A great place for a summer lunch but make sure you have lots of time, as you will want to stay on in the relaxing atmosphere. Also make sure no one is driving! Keep an eye out for special events like the wine tasting and meal evenings.
