Britain’s regional museums & galleries – Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland has an abundance of museums and galleries along with heritage centres and historical tours for everyone to enjoy.
Belfast’s famous
Ulster Museum (www.ulstermuseum.org.uk/), located in the city’s Botanic Gardens, houses rich collections of archaeology, local history, art and natural sciences. Don’t miss a special exhibition about the 19th and 20th-century artist Sir John Lavery who donated much of his life’s work to the museum.
