The Cavern Club

Dubbed "The most famous club in the world", this is the venue that launched the Beatles; they played there almost 300 times. It closed for over ten years and was rebuilt and remodelled in the mid 1980s. The Cavern Club has gigs each night and also has a 'Wall of Fame' where the names of the 1,801 bands who played the Club from 1957 - 1973 are etched into individual bricks.

The Beatles Shop

The Beatles Shop, situated on Mathew Street opened in 1984. The store sells everything that is Beatles related and houses an original 1959 jukebox which plays all the Beatles singles, the store even has a Beatles carpet!

From Me To You – Beatles Store and Information Centre

This is the largest shop in Europe for 100% Official Beatles, Apple & Yellow Submarine Merchandise. They are based on Mathew Street. It's a shrine to absolutely everything Beatles, from here you can pick up a free Beatles Map to guide you through all the sites of the Beatles Liverpool and Cavern Quarter District.

The Mathew Street Gallery

The Gallery specialises in drawings by John Lennon and Beatles photography. It also features artwork by Klaus Voorman, who befriended the Beatles in Hamburg; he drew many pictures of them and was asked by John Lennon to design the record sleeve for the Beatles' Revolver album, for which he won a grammy. Astrid Kirchherr also exhibits her photography; she took photos of the Beatles when they first toured in Hamburg in 1960. The gallery opened to the public in 1999 and is situated above the Beatles Shop on Mathew Street.
