National parks

There are 14 National Parks (www.nationalparks.gov.uk/) in Britain and they quite simply contain some of the nation’s most beautiful and inspiring landscapes.  They attract around 100 million visitors every year, who flock to enjoy the leisure opportunities the parks provide. You will find some of Britain’s best walking, cycling and horse riding locations and a whole host of other adventure activities.

  • South West: Dartmoor and Exmoor
  • South East: New Forest
  • East: The Broads in the East
  • Heart of England: Peak District
  • North West: Lake District
  • Northumberland, North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales in the North East
