Manchester is one of Britain’s funkiest cities, locals are amazingly fashionable and the shopping is high-octane and glamorous. Visit Exchange Square’s Selfridges and Harvey Nichols located opposite each other. And then there’s the Trafford Centre, 150 acres of retail madness: 280 shops, every brand under the sun, a food court with seating for 1600. Astonishing.
