Drive west from Cardiff to Swansea Bay and Gower Peninsula where clifftop walks unfurl some of the most breathtaking views in Britain. Watch the vivid sunsets at Worm’s Head, spot porpoises playing offshore and gasp at the graceful hang-gliders soaring above you.

Traditional seaside town

Tenby

Next stop Tenby, a traditional Welsh seaside town with wonderful sandy beaches and a harbour set against a backdrop of pretty pastel-coloured houses. Wander around the port and join the locals on balmy summer nights when the bars and restaurants come alive with music and entertainment.
