Charing
The village of Charing is your destination for today's walk. Charing was traditionally the last stopping point for pilgrims on their way to Canterbury. Visit the remains of the Archbishop's Palace, which was constructed in medieval times. The Palace was sold by Charles II in 1692, and parts of it have been turned into cottages and a barn.
