Sparsholt Firs

This is probably the most remote section of the Ridgeway (www.nationaltrail.co.uk/Ridgeway/). After a steep climb out of Og Valley, you'll cross the M4 to find yourself surrounded by fields until you reach Sparsholt Firs. During this section of the Ridgeway, you'll see the Uffington White Horse (www.hows.org.uk/personal/hillfigs/uff/uffing.htm), the oldest figure to be carved into the chalk hills of England.
