Market Weighton

The Market town of Market Weighton (www.wicstun.com/index.html) is today's destination. The town's claim to fame is that it was the home of England's tallest man, William Bradley, the Yorkshire Giant. Visit his house, which was built with extra large doors and ceilings to accommodate the 7ft 9in (2.4m) giant. The town also holds an annual 'Giant Bradley Day' celebration, which is not to be missed.
