Dino Jaws Exhibition

Dino Jaws exhibition © W5

This summer, Dinomania is unleashed at W5, the children's Interactive Discovery Centre in Belfast. From Saturday 10 May - Friday 31 October, you and your family can take a journey into the past and discover the lost world of the dinosaurs in the Natural History Museum's blockbuster exhibition Dino Jaws.

Dino Jaws explores the fascinating - and sometimes disgusting - subject of dinosaurs and their food, and includes 7 of the most life-like and spectacular moving dinosaurs ever created.

Enter the exhibition through the Dino Diner, and discover what these giant creatures ate. Then, become a 'Dino Scientist' in the virtual Dino Dig, where you can unearth dinosaur fossils using computer-generated tools. After that, you'll enter the Dino Lab, where you can study jaws, claws, guts and even fossilised dinosaur poo to discover what dinosaurs ate.

When you leave the Dino Lab, you'll find yourself in Dino Park, where you'll come face to face with some of the incredible creatures you've been investigating. From the impressive 8½ metre Baryonyx, through a terrifying pack of Velociraptors to the 5-fingered Iguanodon, the Dino Park allows you to see how these beasts hunted, foraged and survived in such hostile environments.

Dino Jaws is a great opportunity to learn about dinosaurs in a fun, interactive and fascinating way. The exhibition is suitable for families with children aged 4 and over, and entry is free with admission to W5.
