Motorhome facilities & campsites

Motorhomes usually carry between 2-6 people. Most are fitted with beds, fridge, cooker, heating, storage, shower, toilet, and electricity sockets. Bigger models can include double beds, colour TV, air conditioning, and CD player.

If you want to stay in one place for a few days whilst travelling in your motorhome, you should look for a campsite. Campsites are usually found on the edges of small towns or villages, and can provide welcome relief for tired motorhome drivers. A few sites are free to stay in, but most charge a fee, usually around £20 a night.

There are hundreds of campsites across Britain that welcome motorhomes. Campsites are a great way to meet other travellers and often provide extensive facilities like showers, toilets, shops, bars and sports and activities.
