Left & lost luggage in London
Underground
AFor security reasons, London's tube stations don't have any luggage storage facilities. But left luggage facilities can be found at any National Rail station.
If you think you've lost something on the tube, it may have been handed in to the ticket office. It's best to check at the station within 2 days of losing your belongings.
After 2 days, you can contact the Lost Property Office on +44 (0)845 330 9882 (08:30-16:00, Monday-Friday). The office is situated on 200 Baker Street, close to the train station.
When you get to the office, you might have to provide ID, so make sure you bring some. You might be charged to collect your item: between £1 and £20 depending on the value of the item.
You can also complete a lost property online enquiry form, and you'll be contacted if your property arrives at the Lost Property Office (www.tfl.gov.uk/contact/871.aspx).
Bus
If you think you've lost something on a London bus, you should contact the supervisor at the bus station or garage where you lost the belongings. You can also contact the supervisor at the bus station or garage that manages the bus route. It's best to check within 4 days of losing your property.
After 4 days, your lost belongings will probably be sent to the Lost Property Office (www.tfl.gov.uk/contact/871.aspx). Call +44 (0)845 330 9882 (Mondays-Fridays 08:30 to 16:00), and the office will check if your item is there. Alternatively, complete a lost property enquiry form and you'll be contacted if your item is found.
Black taxis
Any property left in a black taxi is handed in to the police, who forward it to the Lost Property Office (www.tfl.gov.uk/contact/871.aspx). You can complete a lost property online enquiry form within 7 days of losing your belongings, and you'll be contacted if your item arrives at the Lost Property Office.
After 7 days, your lost belongings will probably be sent to the Lost Property Office. Call +44 (0)845 330 9882 (08:30-16:00, Monday-Friday), and the office will check if your item is there.
Coach
If you are travelling by coach and think you've left your belongings at London's Victoria Coach Station, call +44 (0)20 7730 3466 within 7 days. You can also visit the Help Point, opposite Gate 21 in the departures terminal between 08:00 and 20:00.

If you think you've left something on a coach, you must contact the coach operator.
