Taxis
Black taxis provide a daily 24-hour service from the stop outside the terminals. Fares to Birmingham city centre cost around £16. For longer journeys you should agree the price before you start your journey - you'll find a price guide to major destinations at the taxi stop.

Car
This airport is located at the centre of the national motorway network. The airport is just 8 miles east of Birmingham city centre and only 1 mile from Junction 6 of the M42 where you can access to 5 other motorways linking all areas in England. Car hire

Trains to Birmingham city centre
There are frequent trains between Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street Station in the city centre. Journey time is 10-20 minutes and services are less frequent in the evenings and at weekends. From Birmingham New Street there's a wider range of direct services to destinations across the country.

Local buses
A number of operators run local buses linking the airport to surrounding districts. All buses stop opposite Terminal 2 in the new bus and coach terminus. The main services, routes 900 and 966, start early and finish late, but there are no overnight services.

Coach
National Express operates long distance coach services linking the Airport to a number of cities and other airports. It's best to book in advance, but you can buy tickets from the driver when seats are available.
Digbeth coach station in Birmingham City Centre is the hub of the National Express network with services to most parts of the UK. Digbeth coach station is about 20 minutes away from the Airport and is easy to reach using the 900 bus service.
