Airport Taxis are the official taxi service for Newcastle International Airport and have taxis waiting to meet all arriving flights immediately outside the terminal building. There's a booking desk near the domestic arrivals area, or you can simply go straight to the taxi stop at the front of the terminal. The fare into Newcastle city centre is about £15 and takes about 20 minutes.

Metro
There is a metro service that links Newcastle Airport with Newcastle Central train station. From the terminal building, you can reach the metro station via a covered walkway. Trains run up to every 7 minutes between 05:43-23:15 Monday to Saturday (06:25-23:15 Sunday). You can buy a ticket from the metro station and they are valid for 1 hour 30 minutes from the time of purchase. A standard single ticket is £2.60. Journey time is about 25 minutes.

Train
