Car

The airport is located in the northwest suburb of Southampton on the interchange of the M27 motorway to Portsmouth and M3 motorway to London. Passengers should exit at junction 5 of the M27. London is about 80 miles from the airport taking about 1 hour 30 minutes to drive. You can also get to Oxford and Newbury very easily via the A34. Coach

National Express is Britain's largest coach operator with direct and connecting routes to over 500 destinations in the UK. There is a National Express terminal in Southampton city centre on Western Esplanade. Take a taxi or local bus (see above) from the airport coach terminal. If you take a bus ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop to Western Esplanade.
